Welcome to the Melting Box Website, the container that contains all the inititiatives that will take place in Piedmont during the European Year of Equal Opportunities for All 2007 and that will culminate in October during the Fair of Rights and Equal Opportunities for All, organised by the Regione Piemonte and Expo 2000.
The Fair will be an opportunity to confront and compare different experiences and policies that aim to prevent and limit descrimination. It will be an occasion for the different regional, national and international organisations that work on anti-discimination to meet and learn from each other, an occasion for creating and re-creating networks and an occasion to inform and make public opinion aware of the advantages that come to a society which values diversity and offers the same opportunities to all without discriminations according to gender, sexual orientation, sexual identity, ethnic origin or disability.
